Juliane Rosa started in Pé Descalço in 2004 as an 8 year old child. She basically grew up in Pé Descalço, finding it a fun and cool place to be, and also a place that transformed her life in many ways. In spite of her height Juzinha was always very curious and dedicated in learning the steps, following her partners and participating in exams. In Pé Descalço she found, during these 12 years, friendship, romance and opportunities. To Juzinha dancing is a remedy for the heart, body and soul. It is just the perfect combination for her life. Juzinha also dances and teaches salsa, samba e zouk.
Thales Pacheco started to dance in 2012 at the school of forró Pé Descalço. For three years, he was an assiduous student, attending two school units during the week. Before completing his degree at the school, he taught a forró workshop in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais. In March 2015, he reached red collar (the top level) at Pé Descalço. In the same month, he started to teach in the same unit he first started taking lessons. In May, 2015, he became part of the team of a new school unit in Belo Horizonte, contributing to the success of the school that in just one year, won 100 forrozeiros hearts. Besides classes, he has participated in many performances in dance and music events in schools, including theatre, “Stage Art Music 2016” event. To him, dancing is to pronounce a feeling through movements to others. Pé Descalço in addition to teaching him to dance, showed him how to communicate these feelings. “The school made me who I am today as a person.”
